Jack Ingram Audi reviews 2019 Audi Q7 SUV

Making its debut in 2006, the Audi Q7 reset the standard for full-size SUVs across the board. Audi’s craftsmanship and detail-oriented manufacturing ensured that the Q7 would be fully loaded with all of the latest technology to keep you and your passengers safe, comfortable, and entertained in their SUV.

The 2019 Q7 continues this tradition with three distinct trim levels to allow you to pick and choose the package that best fits your style.Today we are going to look at each trim level and see exactly what differences make each trim level unique.

Premium

The base level 2019 Audi Q7 is anything but bare bones as it is more fully loaded than many similar vehicles at their lowest levels. To start things off, you get your choice of two different powertrain packages to give you more or less power depending on what you are wanting. You can choose between the 45 TFSI 2.0 turbocharged Quattro engine or the 55 TFSI 3.0L turbocharged Quattro engine, both equipped with an 8 speed transmission and all wheel drive.

On this trim level, you will get features such as Audi Pre-Sense basic and Audi Pre-Sense Front, MMI Navigation Plus with MMI all in touch, a Panoramic sunroom with included sunshade and power tile.slide features, an Audi advanced key with hands free tailgate open close, and a power folding 3rd row for extra storage room.

Premium Plus

The second trim level that bridges the gap between the base and fully loaded 2019 Audi Q7 is named the Premium Plus trim level. This trim level allows for the same engine options as the Premium but has many new features to choose from while keeping much of the same equipment found on the Premium level.

The most standout features found on the Premium Plus are going to be a 3D Bose surround sound system, Audi virtual cockpit, Audi side assist with Audi Pre-Sense rear which will include the rear cross traffic assist and vehicle exit assist, a top view camera system, and an Audi Phone Box that wirelessly charges your phone and provides a signal booster.

Prestige

For those who are wanting to get the most fully loaded 2019 Audi Q7 available, the Prestige trim level is going to be the package that you are going to want to look into. This trim level is only offered with the powerful 55 TFSI 3.0L turbocharged engine for maximum performance. It will also include the 8 speed transmission and all wheel drive capabilities.

As far as features go, you will notice many of the same from the Premium Plus, but many have been upgraded to fit the Prestige’s luxurious persona. You will easily notice the 20” 10 spoke star design gray/polished wheels, LED interior lighting package, and a heads up display. It will come equipped with a Warm Weather Package that includes a four zone climate control, front seat ventilation, and rear sunshades for the doors and tailgate. You will also get the Driver Assistance Package which includes ACC, Active Driving Assist, Park Steering Assist, High Beam Assistance, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
